World’s leading cryptocurrency exchange platform Binance has made a big announcement. The cryptocurrency exchange divulged today that it has received official recognition by the International Organization for Standardization or ISO.
Binance took to its Twitter handle and shared the big news of receiving an ISO/IEC 27001 accreditation. It is a globally accepted information security management system issued by ISO. The ISO27001 accreditation, which has been certified by highly renowned global accreditation bodies–DNS & UKAS.
With this recognition, Binance has now emerged as one of the most important crypto-asset platforms to accomplish global information security standards. Binance had to clear the examination of 114 criteria all across the vast 14 categories in order to achieve this milestone and certification. It comprises of asset management, security policy, information systems acquisition, operation security, maintenance, and development.
Binance’ CEO CZ has also made an official statement soon after the achievement, “Security has always been the utmost priority for Binance and our users, and we are honored that Binance’s security management is recognized by the respected DNV and UKAS. We appreciate the great amount of trust that our users have placed in us. We are committed to continuously securing our users’ information and assets by further strengthening our security system.”
It is noteworthy that the award has already received certification by Norway’s DNV which has emerged as one of leading accredited registrars all across the globe and the UKAS, the sole national accreditation body recognized by the British regime.
The big achievement for Binance comes on the heels of the recent launching of its American digital marketplace known as Binance.US, which is controlled by BAM Trading Services. The platform seeks to be inventive, economical and accessible location for users to purchase, sell, and hold digital assets within the United States which will also include user-friendly fiat on-ramp.
A couple of days back, the ninth Launchpad venture from Binance had received acknowledgement by the trading platform and is known by the name Band Protocol.
