The following are the five main blockchain events to be held in the US from now till 31 December.
- CoinAgenda:
The 6th Annual CoinAgenda event will hold from October 26–28 in Las Vegas.
Discussions and Talks will be held on legal, regulations, and jurisdictional issues to be kept in mind while launching a blockchain company and while investing in one. Trends in trading and investing and issues with exchanges, IEOs, and tokens in cryptocurrency will also be discussed.
Speakers include Jed McCaleb, co-founder of Stellar, Olga Feldmeier, CEO of Smart Valor, and VC investor Brock Pierce.
A contest will be held for half-day at the start of the event where start-ups will be able to make a presentation to venture capital funds. Previous year’s winners include Aeternity, Bancor, and Qtum.
- World Crypto Con:
World Crypto Con will hold from October 29–31 in Las Vegas.
It will focus on four core areas. First is Enterprise, which will focus on financial technology, regulatory frameworks, and ways of integrating blockchain technology with various enterprises. The Decentralized will focus on issues concerning developers. WCC Mine will focus on technologies and trends in mining, and the fourth one Mass Adoption will include talks from industry leaders on how to mainstream cryptocurrency.
Speakers include Jon Najarian from Investitures, Pei Chen, Director of Financial Services at Consensus, and Brave’s CEO, Brenda Eich.
- SF Blockchain Week:
The SF Blockchain Week from October 28–November 3 in San Francisco.
The speakers at this event include Don Tapscott of the Blockchain Research Institute, Vitalik Buterin, Galaxy Digitals Mike Novogratz, and Jihan Wu from Bitmains.
Hester Peirce of the SEC will also be attending the event to put forward the SEC’s viewpoint on the regulatory framework governing Cryptocurrency in the US. Congressman Warren Davidson will also be in attendance at the event.
- DAS Markets:
DAS Markets will be held on November 13 in New York City.
The event will include discussions and talks on trading and insuring of crypto assets and integrating various financial institutions with cryptocurrency.
Speakers are drawn from several fintech companies like Morgan Creek Capital, TD Ameritrade, Grayscale Investments, Mastercard, and Anchorage.
- Blockchain Expo North America:
This event will hold on November 13–14 in Santa Clara.
Over 350 exhibitors will showcase their cutting-edge products and technologies at this event. It will be attended by blockchain industry giants like IBM, Oracle Hyperledger, Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, Litecoin, Polymath, and IOTA.
A wide swathe of the blockchain industry, including investors, VCs, and technology providers, will take part in the event. It will also include speakers from companies such as FedEx, Walmart, and Credit Suisse, who will explore ways of integrating blockchain technology with their operations.
